Hi friends and happy Monday! I’ve rounded up some more Amazon finds you need. 😉
I’m headed to VA today to see my parents for Thanksgiving, and Kent will be coming tomorrow. This is our first holiday without either of our kids. It’s going to feel strange. This is Benny & Erin’s year to be with her family for Thanksgiving, and Katie has to work the 2 days before and the 2 days after, so she couldn’t go with us, but she will be with her boyfriends family, so I know she’ll be well fed and taken care of.
Now for the Amazon finds you need. First up let’s look at everything you need for the perfect mashed potatoes. Our family doesn’t actually have mashed potatoes, we have sweet potato casserole, but I know a lot of families do have mashed potatoes. For me the key is a ricer. If you’ve never used one for this, it’s a game changer. You will have lighter, fluffier mashed potatoes.
I was also watching the Food Network Saturday and they preheated a dutch oven to serve the potatoes and keep them warm. That’s a really smart idea.
Maybe before the holidays you’d like a little kitchen or bathroom refresh. It’s always fun to replace a few things and give these rooms a little facelift. Refillable bottles have become very popular along with Turkish towels.
I also rounded up some other home decor items that you might enjoy. I love baskets and trays for grouping things on tables, counters or an island. These could be used for holiday decor as well just by adding greenery and or ornaments or Christmas figurines. So that’s more bang for you buck.
