Holiday Outfit Ideas

Hi friends! Happy Halloween! Today I don’t have any tricks, but a big treat. (Corny, I know!😉) Holiday outfit ideas. These pieces hit all the marks when you’re thinking about what to wear for special holiday events. These are new releases from Gibsonlook. (this is not sponsored) They are all black (one of my personal favs), they are timeless, and they are darling…if I do say so myself, and you can use my code LISA10 to get 10% off your order.

Let’s start with this sweater with the sheer sleeves. I feel like a sheer sleeve always amps up any look, and makes it special. A sheer sleeve is also a great way for women in the midlife years to show their arms, without showing their arms. I paired it with these faux leather pants. Faux leather is absolutely everywhere right now, and such a fun way to jazz up a look. The best news is that most of the faux leather is super soft and supple. These feel like buttah and they are on sale over 50% off. And the SHOES!!! They are so cute. They’re from Chico’s, and I feel in love the minute I saw them.

These two pieces can be mixed and matched with so many things. The pants could be worn with any of the tops in this post, or any other dressier blouse you might have in your closet. I ordered a medium and sadly they are too big and too long even with a 3.5″ heel on. But at least now we know how they run. 😉

The top! I love a halter neckline. I’m pretty sure you’ve heard me say that before. It’s super flattering and our shoulders tend to age well. LOL This would be equally cute styled with jeans, faux leather, or a satin skirt,

This top is another one with sheer sleeves and I adore it. Look how elegant it is with this satin slip skirt. Not to sound like a broken record, but put it with faux leather, the satin pants or denim. #keepreading

Here it is with the Spanx flare jeans. I’m wearing a petite medium in the jeans, and still have on a heel. I’m 5’3″ for reference. I also have scored a discount code for the Spanx website. Yahoo!!! Use LISAXSPANX and get 10% off your order. I love this look for a semi casual Christmas party, girls night out, or date night.

And last but certainly not least. This lace dress is absolutely beautiful and will stand the test of time. This is yet another piece that won’t go out of style. The cut is super flattering and it will work for special occassions outside of the holidays. It would be a great wedding guest dress, class reunion, cruise, special night out…you name it.

I bought those pants in both black and the wine color. My exact words were “butter” too! Now I see that they are half what I paid so I am going to try to get a price adjustment. They look so good on you and I love all of your outfits !

I especially love that first top with the short sleeves and that cute little black dress. That dress looks really cute on you. BTW, don’t know if you remember me, but I used to have the blog “This Main Line Life.”
