Hi friends! I ordered a winter Prime Wardrobe a few weeks ago, and today I’m sharing that try on. There’s are some really good pieces in this one, so if you’re still needing some gifts, these will be good options.
If you’re not familiar with Prime Wardrobe, it’s a service offered by Amazon. You can order up to 8 pieces to try on at home and only purchase what you keep. It’s super easy and convenient. The most challenging part is finding exactly what pieces qualify. You might find a style you like, but only certain colors are available for the Prime Wardrobe service. I think it’s kinda weird, but they didn’t ask my opinion. HA!
Since a lot of us are always on the hunt for good cardigans, I grabbed two of those in this shipment. A black one, and a camel one, both in the same style. I liked the style itself, but the I wasn’t crazy about the texture. It was almost a “wubby” texture and so it already looked worn. The fit was good, but for me the texture was a hard pass.
I wanted to be able to show you a good pair of jeans, so I got this pair from Democracy. Did you know that Democracy was a sister to Wit and Wisdom? I find them to be basically identical. They waistband has the absolution technology (a wide elastic type material on the backside of the waistband…not as weird as it sounds) They hold you in and feel great.
There are various styles available on Amazon, some of which you can shop below.
I love the look of these Anorak coats, and let me tell you that if you are looking for a cute, warm coat, this is it. I love the fur around the hood and it’s lined with a super soft sherpa. It’s more coat than I need in California, or even in Tennessee, but if you live in a cold climate or like to go to snowy places, this would be such a great option.
I’m a huge fan of vests, and wear one frequently in winter in California. This one is so cute in the leopard pattern, and while it’s a puffer vest, it’s not huge and bulky. It’s light but still warm, and comes in a good variety of solids if leopard isn’t your taste.
I grabbed these jammies to share in this post. They are really cute, and I have become a huge fan of the Fair Isle pattern this season. I loved it in middle school, and now that it’s back in style, you can sign me up. These aren’t the waffle weave you might expect, but a textured fabric I’m not even sure how to describe. I will tell you to size up in them. They are cut slim. I have on a medium and it fits fine, but I wouldn’t have wanted them any smaller.
The last piece I got in this winter Prime Wardrobe was this darling sweater. I’ve seen it on various people I follow and thought it was cute and it really is. It’s a great quality. Sometimes Amazon totally shocks me with the quality of their clothing (in a good way), and this is one of those times. It comes in a variety of colors, and I think a couple of prints as well. I also really liked that the v-neck wasn’t a deep v. It’s modest and cute.
Have you tried Prime Wardrobe yet? If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, give it a try. You’ve got nothing to lose. Shipping isn’t Prime, so it takes a little longer to get there and you only have 7 days to decided what to keep (if anything) and what to return. Once you go on your computer and declare your decisions, you do have some time to get it to the UPS store, so don’t feel rushed, I didn’t know that the first time and felt under the gun to get it done and back to UPS for return.
