Happy Wednesday friends. Today I’ve got a darling J.Crew Factory tiered maxi dress to share with you, and of course it’s also our Style Six linkup. I don’t know about you, but I am loving all the bright yellows, oranges, and pinks for summer. When I saw this J.Crew Factory tiered maxi dress that embodied all three of these colors I went all heart eyed. J. Crew Factory has some really cute pieces, and a lot of them seem to be rather timeless, in that they bring them back year after year. They’ve had these scalloped camis and scalloped bottom elastic waist skirts for as long as I can remember.
Aside from the pretty color combo on this dress, I also happen to love a sweet sundress style. This one is really versatile. You can style like I did for a little dressier occasion by adding heeled sandals and jewelry, but you could just as easily put on a flat casual sandal for everyday wear.
I almost always size down in J, Crew Factory clothing dresses and sometimes tops too. This dress is a 4 and I almost think I could have gone down to a two. You and I both know I’m not a 2, but it doesn’t hurt the ego to have one. HA!
There’s a side zipper, so it’s easy to get on and off and it’s fully lined. I love when retailers go ahead and take that extra step for summer dresses that are made out of thinner cotton. It also has our all time favorite feature…pockets. Why do pockets just make everything better? LOL
If you like to have a layer for restaurants or cooler evenings, you could easily throw on your favorite white or light denim jacket with this. I didn’t think about it at the time, but you could also layer a white blouse over it, and tie at the waist for a little different look. It would give it more of a maxi skirt feel with a cami underneath.
