Happy Wednesday friends. Do y’all realize today is the 13th, and we are just zooming right through January? I mean seriously, where does the time go? Thank heavens my Apple watch displays the date, or I might never know what it actually is. Have you bought into the jogger trend yet? I held out for quite a while, and then started trying some different pairs. Well today I’m going to share my favorite pair of joggers with you, and one way to style them along with our Style Six link up.
There are a lot of things to love about joggers, and there are an endless amount choices available. I’ve rounded up some in all price ranges, from low to somewhat higher.
SHOP ALL OF THESE JOGGERS
Let’s cut to the chase. The pair I ended up loving and keeping are Zella. Zella is one of the house brands carried by Nordstrom and I have quite a few pieces from this line. I’ve loved every single piece I’ve purchased, which keeps me going back for more. The quality is great and the price point is what I’d call middle of the road. The best part is that if you watch, you can catch them on sale a few times a year.
First let me tell you that these joggers are super comfortable. I have purchased 3 of the pairs in the collage, and they are all comfortable, but this pair is obviously my favorite. What do I love about them? They aren’t fleece. Yes, you read that right. They are a soft, stretchy, smooth fabric. They hold their shape incredibly well, and the butt never bags out. Because of the type of fabric they’re made of, they lend themselves to being dressed up a little, as well as very casual.
I chose to put a good white blouse and a denim jacket with them to make a great everyday look. This would be a perfect outfit for a casual Friday, but also a great travel outfit, lunch out with the girls, errands, or a laid back (but polished) date night. I really can’t think of an occasion where this combo wouldn’t be appropriate.
I can’t not talk about this denim jacket for a few. It’s new! I got it from Chico’s and I love it. My favorite denim jacket for years has been this one. I have the more bleached option, which is great for summer, but I really love this mid-denim color for the rest of the year. The line and cut of this one is very flattering, the material is soft and stretchy, and it’s not binding. I am so happy the denim manufacturer’s have finally figured out this magical combination. The best part about a denim jacket like this, is they never ever seem to go out of style, and you can grab them to wear over almost anything.
