Ready for Vacation and Friday Favorites

Happy Vacation Eve. This should be a legal holiday, right? HA! Fasten your seatbelts, and grab your coffee. I’ve got a lot of goodness to share with you today. I’ve had a few things stacked up that I’ve been meaning to share, and today is the day. I’m so ready for this vacation, but first let’s hit the Friday Favorites. Ready, Set, Go!

Linking up for…

So I had no idea I’d be so excited about this one. I’ve been hearing about CBD oil for a while, and have several friends who use it. I’d thought about trying it, but just hadn’t done it. As luck would have it, this company approached me. I did a little research and said yes. I didn’t want to share it until I knew how I felt about it. CBD oil is supposed to help with:
If you watch my stories on IG, then you heard me talking about this on Wednesday. I’ve been taking it for a good 6 weeks. About a week ago I got up one morning and realized my back didn’t hurt. I have had chronic back issues for years. I knew the only thing it could be was the CBD oil.

I’ve also had some tendonitis in my elbow for at least a year, and it’s not bothering nearly as much. So the moral of the story is, I’m a fan. So much so, I just ordered 3 more bottles. They have a Buy 2, Get 1 free offer I took advantage of. They also gave me a code to share with you for 21% off. (weird amount, I know) Use code Lisa21 to get the discount. If you couple the buy 2, get 1 deal with my discount, it almost brings them down to half off.

It comes in 2 flavors. Mint and orange. I have the mint, and it’s a very subtle taste. Not bad or offensive at all. I was worried it would be gross. I’ve got a friend who takes a different brand and she said it has a metallic taste. Not this.🙌🏻

Next up, these Microderma mitts. These are cloths you wet and put on your hand then use them to exfoliate in the shower. There’s one for your body that’s slightly more abrasive, and then one for your face. They’re both gentle, and the effect reminds me of dry brushing. The benefits are also similar to those you get from dry brushing.
-removes dry and dead skin cells
-opens and cleans out pores so they won’t get clogged
-improves skins texture (and says they can help reduce the appearance of cellulite)
-allows skin care products to be absosrbed more effectively

For the face mitt, you use it 1-2 times a week, and the body you use 1 time a week. They last about 6 months. This company has also given me a code to share with you. Use CoasttoCoast2 for 15% off. Click here to visit site.

More Tula goodness. I’ve been trying different Tula products as a Tula ambassador, and loving it. First, let me put this disclaimer out there. I am a Rodan + Fields lover and believer. That isn’t going to change. I use the products faithfully, but I also like to augment with others for several reasons. First, I like to use a cleanser before I use any of my R+F masks. Second, I like to try and test products that are readily available for you, without having to purchase R+F . I know not everyone feels the same way I do about them.

I’ve been using these two for a couple of weeks, and I’m really pleased with them. I’m using them both in the morning and evening, then going on with the rest of my skincare routine. The cleanser is great. It leaves my skin feeling very clean, and taught, not stripped or dry, but like it’s younger than it is. #signmeup

The toner is different from any toner I’ve tried. It’s almost like a gel, but I like it. It has probiotics and glycolic acid. Both of these are excellent for your skin. Toner is often overlooked, and it shouldn’t be. “Facial toner works by helping to temporarily minimize the appearance of pores and create a smoother looking appearance. Toners also help to clean dirt, oils and impurities more efficiently than cleanser alone, and leave skin better protected against environmental stressors”

Katie loves the Nature’s Bakery fig bars that come in a variety of flavors, and got me kinda hooked on them. When I was visiting her last month we grabbed a box of these Oatmeal Crumble bars on one of our outings. We were starving and broke into the box as soon as we got in the car. Let me say YUUUMMMM. We thought they were so tasty. We also agreed if you warmed it in the microwave and put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top, it would be delish! I’ve been eating these when I have my afternoon coffee. So good.

My first things from the Nsale arrived Wednesday. If you are planning to shop the sale, you might want to check out last weeks Friday Fav post. There is a version of this sweater from Leith every year in the sale. I had one in a beautiful blush color from a couple of years ago, but I didn’t love the cut of it, so I sold it on Poshmark. It had pockets that just added bulk to my hips, and I don’t need any help in that department. These long cardigans are super duper soft. Yes, you read that right. Not just super, but super duper. My intention was to only keep one, but let’s face it, you and I both know there’s a good chance I won’t be able to part with one. LOL
