Face Mask Friday Favorites

Hey gang! UGH…I just about had this post finished and my computer shut down. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Lost the whole thing. So here we go again. Since it looks like we’re going to be wearing masks for the foreseeable future, I figured I’d round up some to share with you, so the title “Face Mask Friday Favorites” was an appropriate title.

Masks

I never dreamt face masks would become part of my accessorizing process. Y’all know me. I’m not going to be wearing no boring face masks. Luckily all the retailers have sprung into action and everyone is selling one version or another.

Orly nailpolish

I picked up a couple bottles of nail polish on clearance a few weeks ago. This one is called Powder Puff, and I think it’s discontinued, but this color is very similar. I typically keep my nails dipped, but since my nail place is still closed, I’m having to do them myself. This polish goes on well, and wears pretty well too. I somehow seem to be rough on mine, and this is wearing better than most.

I’ve been on the hunt for a graphic tee for a while now. When I saw this SUNKISSED tank, I knew I had to go for it. Hip-hip-hooray! I love it. It’s all kinds of cute, and let me tell you, the fabric is great. It’s a nice thick knit. Not so thick that it will be hot, but not flimsy. I love the cut too. It has a little bit of a swing cut at the bottom. I just wish they had some more graphics to choose from. I’d buy them all.

How cute are these sandals? I was seeing them on bloggers here, there and everywhere. Well you know me, I had to get in on the cute shoe action. I’m so glad I did. They are really comfy, just the right amount of bling, and the jelly straps have a little retro vibe that remind me of my days in high school.

I recently got a trial tube of this Too Faced Primer, and dare I say I really ?love it? (you have to say that in a sing-song voice). It’s the first primer I’ve tried that’s actually tempted me to break up with my Avon Magix I’ve been using for at least a decade. This stuff truly makes my makeup feel better on, and last longer. I’m going to be ordering the full size tube when I run out of this little one.

The hunt for jeans, feels a little like the hunt for unicorns. Always going on. I’ve heard so many great things about Madewell jeans that I finally decided to try them for myself. This pair is on major sale right now, so if you’ve thought about trying them too, pull the trigger. They have a nice amount of stretch. I wore them around yesterday afternoon, and could tell they loosened up slightly. I purchased 2 sizes, and I could wear either pair, but I’ll probably go with the larger of the two. I don’t like feeling like a sausage in my jeans. Ya’ know?

The tie dye top is an Amazon find, and it’s available in approximately a bazillion options. It’s a great little throw on and go style, without having to fuss with it. The material is very soft and stretchy, and I like the neckline. It’s not a typical crew neck, but not a scoop neck either.

Don’t forget about the LiketoKnowit Day sale. If you need info on how this works, who’s participating, and how to go about it, read this post I did Monday.

That’s it for face mask Friday Favorites. How many masks are you up to?

I finally broke down and ordered masks. I got some of the Vera Bradley ones. It doesn’t look like they are going away. Work issued us boring white, like tighty whitey, masks and they don’t want us to use them off duty. I don’t want to use those ugly things off duty anyway, lol. I have been eyeing those sandals but I haven’t pulled the trigger because I’m stingy and why spend the money when I’m not going anywhere to wear them. BUT- you did link to a sale, so…. Have a great weekend!

I found the Vera Bradley masks to be a bit big, so good for larger faces, but not for me. I’m still playing around with adjusting them by tying a knot in the elastic but that makes it a bit tight and pulls my ears. I’m determined to make them work because they have a pocket for filters.

I love that nail polish color! I find I am pretty rough on my polish too; even when I have them done at a salon the color won’t even last a week.

I know what you mean. I’m dying to get back to getting mine dipped. HA!

Me to Sarah! I hate painting my nails, only for it to come off in 10 minutes. LOL

I love your mask picks! We have a mask mandate in our state and I always have one with me. My daughter swears by that primer! I’ve been eying those sandals too!

I just got 3 new masks. 1 has nail polish & lipstick on it, 1 has sunflowers & 1 is tie dyed. Sometimes you get a mask, but it doesn’t fit good or whatever. I think we’re going to be wearing masks for a while too. I like that nail polish. I can’t find a white that I like.

i’ve seen those sandals around, too. They are so cute! I think I’m going to make another mask. I found some fabric on etsy that cutesy, floral and reads: I’m too old for this sh*t! Haha!

I feel ya’. I just ordered elastic and nose bridge pieces to make a few masks too. XO

So far, I think they live up to the hype. They’re very comfy, and holding their shape. Hooray! XO

If we need to wear masks we might as well have pretty ones! I have a whole collection of them and I barely go out. But just in case I am going to be ready! Happy Friday!
    Peace!

My thoughts exactly! We just refinanced our house and had to have several people in our home through the process and wore masks. XO
