Sweet Summer Dress

I bet if there’s one thing y’all have figured out about me, it’s that I love summer and all things that come with it. That includes all the sweet summer dresses, and it seems one of the best places to find cute, affordable summer dresses is Target. They continually bring us a great selection. The only problem I have is not keeping them all. They almost make me wish I worked outside of the home. Almost…??

One of the things I really appreciate about Target dresses, is that so many of them are lined. There’s nothing worse than finding a darling dress, and then realizing you can see straight through it.

This dress is made out of a soft, gauzy cotton that’s easy breezy breathable for hot summer days. Can you imagine how cute it would be layered with a white or blue denim jacket? It also happens to be one of my favorite colors to wear. It’s so bright and happy, and seems to go well with almost all skin tones. My Madewell tote is the only bag I’ve carried since getting it last fall. Not only is it a cute bag, it’s perfect for holding all the things and especially for travel. I carry it and one of my Barrington totes every single time I travel. It left the house Saturday for the first time in months. HA!

The pop of leopard on my sandals (on sale) is just perfection with this dress. The pop of leopard is actually perfection with most things. If you aren’t utilizing leopard in some form, you are missing out. I can’t encourage you enough to add some to your wardrobe. Leopard in the form of accessories is probably the easiest way to start.

BIG NEWS….LOFT is having a warehouse sale with rock bottom prices. You can’t find these things this cheap anywhere. They even have some sweet summer dresses for $12.

Don’t forget to be thinking about what you’d like to link up for our Red, White & You link up on the 29th.
