Styles with Staying Power

Hey gals!!! How’s your week going? Mine’s going really well. I’ve been super busy and getting things done. The weather has been insanely good, and I’m here to tell you that influences my mood tremendously. It just puts a little extra pep in my step, and I swear it give me more energy. Maybe Kent and I need to retire somewhere warm? HA! I thought today I’d talk to you about styles with staying power. After all, those are the best styles. I love it when things last from season to season. Don’t you?

THIS top. This top is a spring and summer gem. It’s light weight and the fabric is flowy and drapey. Last year it was all over the place, and I’m starting to see it pop up this year too. It comes in what seems like a bazillion colors, with slight style variations.

Amazon Shirt

This jumpsuit is the perfect piece for travel, errands and just hanging around the house. The Daily Ritual brand is known for their knits. They are great quality, nice and thick, soft and comfortable as all get out.

A long white tank is pretty much a summer essential. I really like this one. It’s a stretchy material and the length is great. Not too short, and not too long. You can pair it with leggings, short and jeans, like I have on here.

Katie and I both got this top last year. It’s another one that comes in a bunch of colors, and they’ve added a sleeveless version and a long sleeve one as well. I love anything with a peplum, and the tiers on this one have the same feel.

This smocked top is what gave me the idea for this post. I bought this one two years ago and absolutely loved it. The same top came out in long sleeve for winter, and 3/4 sleeve for spring. (see that one here) Well imagine my excitement [for you] when I saw it was back in this color and two others for spring and summer. It looks cute untucked or front tucked, and I’ve also worn it tied in a knot in the front.

If you’re looking for a top that is a lot of bang for your buck, then slow your roll right here. This one is made out of really good quality material, and the sash is completely removable and optional, but it looks cute either way. The earrings I always wear with it are also one of my favorite summer pairs. They look adorable with so many summer looks and I get a ton of compliments every single time I wear them.

So what do you think? Are these styles with staying power?

My pick from last weeks link up is Darlene. I love how she styles shift dresses. Just look how cute it looks with a belt. Great idea.
