Favorite Fall Purchases

Merry Christmas Eve-Eve! One good thing about traveling for Christmas (besides seeing your favorite people) is you have to have all the things done before you leave. I do have a few things to pick up, but everything else is purchased and wrapped. Yahoo! Sometimes you buy things and have no idea how much you’ll end up loving them. That’s what today’s post is all about. I’m re-sharing my favorite fall purchases. These are things I would absolutely buy all over again. Things I thought I’d like, but had no idea just how much. Things I think you’ll love if you buy them too.

I had looked and looked for a pair of chestnut colored booties. I loved the style of the Steve Madden booties from the Nordstrom sale, but didn’t want the heel quite that high. Then I found these! The same design by Steve Madden, just with a slightly lower heel and in the color I wanted. I love them! They’re still in stock, come in black and now a snakeskin.

Y’all know I’m a huge fan of a wubby fleece. I kept seeing this buffalo plaid on people and I finally had to have it. I absolutely, positively love it! It’s the softest thing ev-er. That’s a pretty big statement, but I will stand behind it. OH, and you know I love my Hunter boots.

I basically spent all last winter looking for these boots, but I didn’t really know they were the ones. When they were restocked this year, I decided to take a chance, and boy am I glad I did! They are basically perfect. The calf circumfrence, the shaft height, the heel height and they are a neutral taupe suede, which exactly what I wanted. They can be dressed up or down, so they’re super versatile. If taupe isn’t your jam, they also come in black leather and both are almost fully stocked in all sizes.

Madewell Tote, favorite fall purchases

Ever heard of beating a dead horse? I think that might be what I’m doing with this bag, but I do seriously love it. I think it’s a timeless style, but to quote Katie, “it’s very trendy” right now. I kinda figure anytime my college aged daughter approves, it’s a major win! I love the neutral English Saddle, but it’s also available in black, an animal print and with or without a zipper. There are also straps available to change up. Just a warning, the straps are shorter than the adjustable strap that comes with it. I leave both on and the regular strap is just inside the bag for when I want to throw it on crossbody style.

Travel outfit, What I wore in Austin

This sweater (still available) has been another great purchase. It is great to throw on over just about anything. I love the boxy/flowy style. I’ve worn it with dresses, jeans, leggings and could be used as a travel “robe” over pj’s.

There are some other favorite fall purchases I’ve bought that I love too, like my Victoria Emerson bracelets and Soma pajamas, but these are the things I’m so happy I didn’t end up missing out on.

Stopped right in the middle of this post to order some snakeskin booties. I like the Vince Camuto’s you shared but wanted something with a kitten heel and found it at Macy’s. Thank you for the help. Your black and white plaid is so snuggly and soft. Great look.
