Today is a two-fer. Who doesn’t like two for the price of one? It’s the first Tuesday of the month, which means our Ageless Style link up. In case you aren’t familiar with this, the first Tuesday of every month ten over 40 bloggers present a different style theme and show a myriad of ways to wear it, all the while proving you can still be fashionable and on trend over 40 and beyond. Sounds pretty good, don’t you think?
Our friend Debbie from Fashion Fairy Dust chose our theme this month, and with the holidays fast approaching (T-21 days and counting), she chose festive outerwear. Well living over here in California means our need for “outerwear” is much less than most of the rest of the country. I honestly rarely even have to wear a coat these days, and I’m not mad about it.
Luckily enough for me, Eva Trends contacted me and asked if I’d be willing to do a collaboration with them. Whenever a company I’m only slightly familiar with contacts me, there are several things I have to consider, like do I like what they have to offer, and do I think YOU will like what they have to offer? After checking out their website, I decided to go for it.
Note: This sweater was gifted to me in return for a post. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
I’ll be sharing 3 posts with you in the next week or so with items they sent me. Today is the first one, and the timing worked out just perfectly for our outerwear prompt. Oh, and good news. Eva Trends is offering y’all 15% off your entire order with the code LR15, which can be used multiple times.

This beautiful red tassel cardigan is more of a cross between a shawl and a poncho and it screams Christmas. It’s perfect for the holidays and could easily be dressed up like I’ve done here or paired with jeans and boots for a more casual look.

The knit texture of this fabric is such a wonderfully pleasant surprise. Whenever you order anything online from a company you haven’t ordered from before, it’s a bit of a gamble. Well this is just so nice and thick and soft. I really love the material. I will give you a tip though, be sure to scroll to the bottom of the pages of any items you are looking at. When this arrived, I got a bit of a surprise on the back.

I am not really a sequins and embroidery kind of girl, so this little surprise shocked me. If you are lover of sparkle and shine, then this just might be perfect for you. If you are more like me, I also found what looks like the very same sweater on their site in several different colors with a contrasting inside that are gorgeous.

Eva Trends has a very eclectic selection of clothing that ranges from very flowy dresses, to overalls. Yes, that’s a pretty big spread. You’ll also want to know that the majority of sizing is one size fits most. This was a little concerning to me because I feared things would really overwhelm me. I think it really depends on what you choose. All of them items I chose, luckily fit me well.

Shop the look here and don’t forget to head over to Eva Trends and spend some time perusing their site. You may find something you have to have and you can get 15% off with code LR15.
